以下、Eaton発行のリリースノート(原文)
=============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.60 Release (March 2018) =============================================================================== New features: ============= * Nutanix Cluster shutdown based on Acropolis Hypervisor * New option to manage manually Duplicated nodes on discovery process * IPM OVA package 64bit (based on Debian) including Open VM tools * Dynamic group implementation for configuration policy * vSAN : cluster shutdown managed by IPM (check Known issues section for configuration restriction)(1.56) * Microsoft Hyper-V integration : remote agentless shutdown and remote agentless maintenance mode (1.56) Improvements: ============= * Correlation ID algorithm : reinforcing compare rules to determine duplicate nodes (IP address-SN-IPv6) * NetApp compatibility with 9.1 OS (starting from 8.3)(1.56) * HPE OneView 3.0 compatibility (1.56) * VMware : Manage SRM connector and Manage Infrastructure shutdown (1.56) * SCVMM is removed from connectors list (1.56) * New Eaton Management Pack for OpenStack (Ocata release) brings Virtual Machine Power Optimized Placement capability to OpenStack users thank to IPM (1.56) Bugs fixes: =========== * HPE OneView compatibility restored with version 2.x and previous * Hyper-V connectors available for IPM OVA package * VMs graceful shutdown fixed for MS Hyper-V infrastructure connector * VMs location update after a migration of VMs to one Esxi host * ESXi 6.0: Hypervisor and Virtual Machine monitoring issues on IPM * APC UPSs discovery * Prevent Shutdown by IPM when UPSs switch on mechanical Bypass * SCVMM connectors configuration still working after an upgrade but no more configurable (replaced by the new MS Hyper-V Connector) New Known issues: ================= * IPM is not compatible with Java 9 & 10 * IPM doesn't manage the vSAN cluster shutdown if Critical VMs are defined when configuring shutdown policy * IPM Configuration Export/Import is not working by default in https mode. Workaround : before importing IPM configuration on new server, it's mandatory to copy/paste the "key.pem" file from the old IPM instance to the new one. * OpenStack connector is not functional in 1.60 even if it's possible to create it on IPM. Cyber-security: =============== Please, read carefully the cybersecurity note provided in Product Literature for information and recommendations about cyber-security. * Unsecure HTTP connection deactivated by default * Third party components library updated to the last components version =============================================================================== Release note Intelligent Power Manager 1.56 Limited Release for Windows (November 2017) =============================================================================== New features: ============= * vSAN : cluster shutdown managed by IPM (check Known issues section for configuration restriction) * Microsoft Hyper-V integration : remote agentless shutdown and remote agentless maintenance mode Improvements: ============= * New Eaton Management Pack for OpenStack (Ocata release) brings Virtual Machine Power Optimized Placement capability to OpenStack users thank to IPM 1.56. * NetApp compatibility with 9.1 OS (starting from 8.3) * HPE OneView 3.0 compatibility * VMware : Manage SRM connector and Manage Infrastructure shutdown * SCVMM is removed from connectors list. Bugs fixes: =========== * VEEAM plateforms compatibility New Known issues: ============= * SCVMM connectors are not working along with Hyper-V connectors: consider to remove SCVMM connectors before upgrading to 1.56 version * vSAN : Stretched vSAN configuration is not supported in IPM 1.56. Configuration requirement: 3 servers or more * Hyper-V connectors are not working when using IPM OVA package * HPE OneView connector is not compatible anymore with HPE OneView 2.x versions * VM status icon might appear in different states between node list view and selection view * VM location might not be updated when migrated through vCenter connector * VMware ESXi 6.0 host status changes are sometimes not displayed in IPM 1.56 GUI * Hypervisors and VMs are not displayed anymore in the Infrastructure Connectors view. Shutdown configuration is still possible through a right-click in the node list on the corresponding nodes. * Cisco UCS connector might cause disconnection of existing connectors * Correlation ID algorithm issue. Under certain circumstances, IPM will not behave as expected. The most common cases are when a node changes its IP address or UUID (virtual machines). The system may incorrectly identify it as a new device instead of identifying it as a known device as expected; thereby impacting the protection of the device.
